The Podcast Show 2025
You may have seen that I recently returned from spending the week in London for The Podcast Show, and boy, have I been tired!
But the Podcast Show was nothing short of spectacular with loads of interesting talks, lots of vendors and a LOT of free swag.
I came away with so much helpful information and a lot of homework, but it's all work that I'm excited to put into practice, and I wanted to share a few of my favourite nuggets of wisdom with you today...
Go where your audience is, don't wait for them to come to you.
Using social media for your podcast is good to engage people, but it won't necessarily grow your audience.
Subscribe to Podcast Marketing Magic and PodNews
Survey your audience every few months and ask them, "if this podcast were to disappear completely, how would you feel?"
Make friends with people and give without expecting anything in return, it'll come back to you
Sleepless Creatives: Meet Our Newest Guest Reader
Last month we had experienced voice actor and dub artist, Neha Gargava, on the show as a guest reader.
She read us a beautiful article from the Isha Foundation all about getting a good nights sleep and how the moon plays a part in our sleep cycle, you can listen through our website; www.sleeplesscreativespodcast.co.uk
Quick and Easy Spicy Garlic Noodles
Did I mention I was tired? It happens to all of us, we get busy and forget to rest and lose the energy to do simple things like cooking a basic meal.
Especially if you're Neurodivergent, because we take in 10x more information than most people and have a tendency to burn out just as fast.
Here's a recipe that I found online from Tiffy Cooks, the sauce is similar to the Tofu recipe that I shared last time.

Cook your choice of noodles
Throw together the sauce ingredients in a bowl: diced garlic, spring onion, soy sauce, black vinegar, chilli oil, chilli flakes and sesame seeds (eyeball it to your taste)
Heat up a few tablespoons of oil for a few minutes (try to avoid sesame oil as it will burn quickly) then pour it over the sauce mix, it should sizzle, let it sit for a few seconds, then stir it together.
Add the noodles to the bowl and stir everything through, then serve with a fried egg on top and some sliced cucumber.
See you next month!
